Leonard Chumo Falex
Founder, Executive Director

Leonard is a developmental economist who embodies a rare mix of early childhood development expertise drawn from the private and public sector locally and internationally. He has regional experience working with civil society, private sector, government ministries and departments to steer a holistic progressive agenda for children and families. He is the immediate outgoing Chair of the Early Childhood Network for Kenya and was among the founding Global Leaders for the Africa Early Childhood Network. He is a Global Leader for and a staunch Advocate for young children, a master trainer, coach and strategic advisor on best practices in national and regional policies for investing in children. Leonard currently serves as World Forum Foundation for Young Children Global Leaders Coordinator for Africa Region. He is also a member of the Men in Early Childhood Education Working Group.

Leonard is passionate about investing in the development of the next generation of changemakers for children in Africa and other Low and Middle-Income Countries around the world. He believes that investing in children must be a priority for every nation, community, and family.

He enjoys working on early childhood competency educational projects with his two children, Eden and Ivy when at home.
